| Mid-Day Music, a free 30-minute recital, is being presented at St. Paul’s on the Green, 60 East Ave., at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday through May 23. A light lunch follows for a suggested donation of $5.
April 18: I Fagotti. This local bassoon trio will feature Le Phenix by French Baroque composer Michel Corrette. April 25: The Celtic Harp. Soprano Zoe Vandermeer accompanies herself on the Celtic Harp in a program entitled Songbirds: Women’s Voices in Music. May 2: Quonam. The brilliant duo of Oboist Olav van Hezewijk and pianist Eric Trudel return to perform music of Loeillet, Schumann and Saint-Saëns. May 9: Eric Siepkes, Piano. New York City pianist Eric Siepkes returns to Mid-Day Music to play music of Haydn, Kodály and Liszt, including the Hungarian Rhapsody No. 10. May 16: Justine Stephens, Flute. St. Paul’s Chorister alumnus and Ithaca College music major Justine Stephens plays Schubert’s Theme and Variations on Trockne Blumen. May 23: Samuel Backman, Organ. Mr. Backman is completing his Master of Music degree at the Yale School of Music. His concert will feature music of Bach, Schumann and Dupré. |
